Career highlights
  • Trusted strategic advisor to the Board of the ASX, leading their global regulatory and legal functions for over a decade.
  • Became partner of one of Australia’s leading legal firms within five years of her graduation from ANU. In this role she was a pioneer in the de-regulation of Australia’s telecommunications industry in the eighties and early nineties.
  • Career extending across a wide range of businesses in financial services, telecommunications, energy and resources, in countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan.
  • Named by the Financial Times as an FT Top 30 Worldwide General Counsel, and was also recently recognised with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her leadership in financial market regulation in Washington DC.
  • A recognised people leader, active in mentoring programs with students at ANU and Sydney University, and with female executives and entrepreneurs in the financial services and tech sectors.
