Biography

Muhammad Aunib Zaidi is the Research Fellow within the Research School of Management, ANU College of Business and Economics. He is currently researching predictors of refugee success finding work, and volunteers to support refugee communities. He is a qualified accountant and holds an affiliate status with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA affiliate). He has previously worked in Ernst and Young (PAKISTAN), and has actively engaged in numerous audit engagements such as Eni S.p.A, Mcdonalds, Hub Power Company Limited (HUBCO), Cherat Cement Limited, Pakistan State Oil Limited and Sanofi Aventis. He completed his undergraduate degree in ANU with a GPA of 6.47 on 7, and a First Class average in his study at the University of Manchester. He is a recipient of many academic accolades, including Future Leaders Award 2016 and the Chancellor’s Letter of Commendation for Academic Excellence. He recently interned at the ACT Conservation Council for which he received a nomination for the Outstanding Intern of Year Award (2016) at the ANU College of Business and Economics. He also serves as a part time tutor and the CBE Engaged Learning Ambassador at the Australian National University.
